I honestly wouldn't care if the process took a lot longer than it did, if needed. My issue is with the ridiculously poor communication from my attorney. I spoke with several attorneys, including two who specialize in family law, and many people who have been through the divorce process and, without an exception, I was told that the treatment I received was unacceptable. They got you a divorce in about 4 months, which is lightning speed in Tennessee. If you had been charged extra for the delay, I would agree that restitution would be in order but a flat rate is a flat rate. You had unreasonable expectations about the speed a divorce could be obtained in Tennessee and you are taking it out on this firm. Give me a break.
